The Dream Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively using them to serve. The Motor City Church Dream Team is made up of individuals across many areas of ministry. We create a comfortable environment by serving on the First Impressions team, or by leading the next generation to Jesus by serving on a MCKidz team, crafting a dynamic experience within the Creative team, and by building relationships by leading a HUB Group. We are a group that passionately advances the Kingdom of God while having fun.

First Impressions

From the time someone drives into our parking lot we want them to feel loved and welcome. If you want everyone to feel loved by greeting people at the door with a smile, directing traffic, or showing visitors to their seat with a warm welcome, then Motor City Church First Impressions is the team for you!

Worship

One of the best ways to connect to our Creator is through worship. Motor City Church Worship team leads the church into the presence of God during Sunday services and special worship events. We take the biblical exhortation to praise God with cymbals and a big bass drum literally and we have a great time doing it! If you are a musician, a frontline vocalist, or a worship leader we would love to get to know you!

Motor City Kidz

Our high quality children programming includes ages 6 weeks through 5th Grade. We have a goal of our children empowered to influence today’s culture! If you not only have a heart for kids, but enjoy interacting through worship, small group, large group, active play settings, and media we are a dynamic team just for you!

Motor City Youth

Motor City Youth is a cool place where teens can grow together in their faith and encounter God in a fresh and relevant way! Our priority is to help teens meet new friends, feel accepted and be challenged to live to their fullest potential! The youth of Motor City Church are helping to define the culture of a generation that is far from God and looking for purpose.

Production

We were all given talents and creativity that are unique to us. The Motor City Church Production team assists in the production of the overall worship experience using lights, cameras, graphics, LED, and other visual elements. If you want to use your photography skills or videography capabilities or assist in managing the creative design of our worship services, we want you in the production team! This team ensures that we create life changing experiences each week and then captures these moments to share them with the world.

Outreach

This team takes the message outside of the four walls and into the community. They plan and execute various events to actively represent the hands and feet of the body of Christ locally, regionally and internationally.

Facilities

This team is ok with two things: serving in the background and getting their hands dirty. They are able to make things happen outside of our normal worship experiences to keep our permanent facilities in top shape.

MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS

Whether it is online moderating for streamed services, social media posts, graphics design, photography and videography for posts, traditional email and text, or Tik Tok or Reels videos, we are actively working each platform for the Kingdom of God. The online experience is the modern day church lobby and we strive for consistency and excellence in this area of ministry. The bottom line is, we do all the marketing and communications and we need you!

Prison Ministry

LIVING FREE is centered around the Stepping into Freedom curriculum. This HUB Group helps anyone struggling with a life-controlling issue like drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual addiction, gambling or workaholism and is led within an existing correctional program. Our goal is for participants to find transformation from hopelessness to thriving, not just surviving, to learn that they are valuable and loved by God.

JOYFUL PRAISE

Our JOYFUL PRAISE ministry is for special needs adults, ages 18 and older. Joyful Praise meets on Sundays, enjoying worship together in the Auditorium and then dismissing for a class tailored just for them! With loving care, we bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to this class as well as bless each class member with the love of God each time they attend.
