Sign up today for the premier youth and young adult event for Summer 2023. The conference takes place on Tuesday, July 25th - Friday, July 28th. Don't miss this experience! We are partnering with Pastor Josh Barclay for a week of engaging worship, learning how to make a difference, and lots of activity! The conference will be held in Midland, MI. Registration fee covers transportation, hotel room, breakfast & conference fees. This is your opportunity to have a deeper relatioship with God, make lasting friendships and have fun while doing it.

FAQ's

What does the registration fee cover?

  • Hotel, transportation, and breakfast.
  • We recommend extra money for lunch, dinner & snacks while we travel. 

What ages can attend?

  • Ages 12-17 may register and attend Invasion as “youth.” Ages 18-28 may register and attend as “young adults.”

How are we getting there?

  • From Louisville - Drop off time at Louisville campus is 8am on Tuesday, July 25th. There will be a driver with a van that will be driven to Troy. 
  • From Troy - Drop off is at noon in Troy on Tuesday, July 25th. There will be a driver and chaperones traveling to Midland, MI for each van/vehicle.
  • Pick up at noon in Troy on Saturday, july 29th
  • The Lousiville group will arrive back in Louisville at 4pm Saturday, July 29th. 

Where will we stay?

  • We will be staying at:
    • Fairfield Inn & Suites Midland
      506 East Buttles Street
      Midland, MI, USA
  • Max. 4 people to room with chaperone. 
  • Motor City Church's registration price includes hotel accommodations. 

What do I wear?

  • Casual, modest apparel( jeans, t-shirts, shorts, tennis shoes, hats, hoodies)

What do I pack?

  • Basic toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant)
  • Sleep wear
  • Athletic wear
  • Four casual outfits for daytime activities
  • Four casual outfits for evening services.

What can I purchase at Invasion?

  • You can buy food, snacks, and beverages to keep you well-energized and hydrated at The Spoon (full menu), The Fork (snacks only), and The Spork (mobile drink cart available during daytime activities). You’ll find unique t-shirts, hoodies, hats, wristbands, lots of fun accessories, worship CDs, and preaching CDs available for purchase at Invasion Threads.

Do youth and young adults mingle?

  • The short answer, sometimes. The long answer… Youth and young adults are segregated during all daytime activities – including breakout sessions, competitions, and meals. Everyone is together for the evening services.

What are the rules?

  • Obey and respect all leaders and staff
  • We expect behavior that will represent Motor City Church well.
  • No weapons, tobacco, or illegal drugs
  • No talking or disturbances during meetings
  • No romantic displays of affection
  • No abuse of equipment or facilities
  • No speeding in parking areas
  • Use garbage can for all trash
  • Dress modestly
  • No food or drinks in the sanctuary
  • Have fun!

Will there be chaperones?

  • Yes. There will be one chaperone for every 8-10 students. 
  • All chaperones are members of Motor City Church and have completed a background check successfully.
